Robertson (1 km)

The "rose and wine" town of the Boland at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains serves as the main  centre of the area, with a fully developed business area including supermarkets, commercial banks, industries, wine cellars, antique shops, etc.   Facilities include the  Silwerstroomstrand holiday resort at the Breede River and an adjacent 18 hole golf course.

Montagu (25 km)

The "entrance" to Montagu in the Klein Karroo is through the impressive Cogmanskloof, only 20 km from Randrivier. This road was built by Thomas Bain in the 19 century to link the Overberg with the Klein Karroo.  Streets are lined with historical Georgian houses with numerous art and indigenous woodwork shops together with picturesque coffee shops.

McGregor (32 km)

A historic town established in 1861. Almost the entire village is preserved as a "monument". Situated on the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains it is a nature's lover's dream. The undulated topography results in a natural garden, planted with an abundance of mountain fynbos and due to its proximity to the Klein Karroo also with succulent plants.

Worcester (40 km)

The "Capital" of the Breede River Valley.  Main transport centre - National Road (N1) and Railroad to the North. The town has a well-developed commercial centre and industry infrastructure as well as an impressive cultural heritage.

Visit the KWV and Klein Plasie Living Open Air Museum to experience the early pioneer lifestyle in real. The famous Hugo Naude House is a museum where the artist lived until his death in 1941.  The oldest Institute for the Blind was established in 1881.
