Description

A historic town established in 1861. Almost the entire village is preserved as a "monument". Situated on the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains it is a nature's lover's dream. The undulated topography results in a natural garden, planted with an abundance of mountain fynbos and due to its proximity to the Klein Karroo also with succulent plants.
